A current sensor based on the Hall effect measures the current in the wire through the sensor opening. It does not require breaking the cable and installing terminals.
Lan Controller v3.0/3.5/3.6 only measures direct current with this sensor.
When used with Lan Controller v3.0, the sensor should be powered from 3.3V from the IDC10-1 connector and the INP1-4A inputs used.
When used with Lan Controller v3.5/3.6 the sensor should be powered from 3.3V from the IDC10-1 connector and the INPA1-4 inputs used or powered from 5V and the INPA1-2 inputs used.
Before use, the indication should be calibrated in the Inputs tab on the Lan Controller page.
